Earth Day food and Wine Festival April 21 The First Annual Earth Day Food & Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2007, at River Oaks Hot Springs & Spa in Paso Robles, California. The Festival will be held from 4 to 7 pm, and features wine tastes and food sampling by over 30 Central Coast wineries and chefs. Winery participants are highly acclaimed and include such stellar names as: Edna Valley Vineyard, Halter Ranch, Michaud Vineyard, Paraiso Vineyards, Peachy Canyon Winery, Suacelito Canyon Vineyard, Saxum Winery and Talley Vineyards. Food purveyors registered at press time represent a diverse range of highest-quality culinary creations: Big Sky Café, Café Novo, Cahoots Catering Company, Dining with Andre, Divine Street Catering, McPhee’s Grill, Sugar Me Bakery, Sweet Earth Chocolates, and Villa Creek. And participating producers of naturally delicious, sustainably farmed foods include: Cal Poly Organic Farm, Earth to Table, 4 Element Organics, Jack Creek Farms, McGrath Family Farms, and Pasolivo Olive Oil. Tickets are limited, and on sale now. General admission is $75 before April 6th, and $100 after. A small amount of tickets that include reserved seating in a special section have been set aside for $85/person, or $600/table of eight.
